Hello, I'm Kirsty! I've spent the last 20 years serving the City of St. Albert, teaching and coaching various Lifesaving Society programs.

I'm passionate about developing people's aquatic and first aid skills. I have been teaching swimming and lifesaving sport for the past two decades and have recently started teaching first aid.
​
As a mother of two young children, I believe this knowledge is essential and helps support safety in our community.

Ryan Joynt
Owner, First Aid Instructor & Swim Instructor
Hello, I'm Ryan! For the last five years, I have had the pleasure of teaching swimming lessons for the City of St. Albert. I also teach Lifesaving Society's Standard First Aid for the City, ensuring their employees are current.

Prior military service has shown me how valuable these skills are and motivated me to help others learn so they are more confident and able to handle first aid situations, should they arise.

Hello, I am Michel. I'll be one of the new instructors at What the First Aid? I have 15 years of experience as a swimming instructor with Lifesaving Society and Red Cross. I have taught all age groups and swimming levels and hope you will have fun with the other instructors and me this summer!
