Approved Workplace First Aid

 

At What the First Aid Inc, we offer Standard First Aid Original Courses and Recerts as well as Emergency First Aid

We offer classes at our office in the Heart of St. Albert in the beautiful Mission area. If you need to have your

staff certified or a group, you need certifying we will come to you! Please contact us for group rates for 

classes in your location!

First aid is a valuable life skill that saves lives by providing people with the skills and judgement to respond to various first aid emergencies. Research has shown that individuals with first aid training are less likely to become injured. First aid training is a continuation of the Lifesaving Society's efforts to provide Canadians with the education and training to prevent injury and/or incidents.

Employers and workers are responsible for doing due diligence in researching first aid programs and certifications to ensure they're approved for the workplace in Alberta.

The Lifesaving Society has Government of Alberta workplace approval for the following certification and re-certification courses:

• Lifesaving Emergency First Aid – approved as an emergency first aid

• Lifesaving Standard First Aid – approved as a standard first aid

• Lifesaving Standard First Aid Recertification- approved as a standard first aid

• Aquatic Emergency Care – approved as a standard first aid

• Aquatic Emergency Care Recertification- approved as a standard first aid
